What is an entity in the NLP environment?
In the NLP/NLU environment, entities mean groups of terms/objects which assume certain common functions for the context of the texts. There are standard entities such as dates or locations, but any domain-dependent entities are also conceivable, such as flight numbers, customer numbers, contact persons, department names, etc.
